Getting Started

Bingo is a fun and easy game that anyone can enjoy! Here's everything you need to know to start playing at Bingo Connection Ontario.

Step 1: Arrive Early

Doors open 30 minutes before each session. Arrive early to:

  • Purchase your bingo cards
  • Find a comfortable seat
  • Get refreshments
  • Socialize with other players

Step 2: Purchase Your Cards

Card sales begin 20 minutes before game time. You can purchase:

  • Paper Cards: Traditional bingo cards you mark with daubers
  • Electronic Cards: Digital cards on handheld devices
  • Package Deals: Multiple cards at discounted rates

What You'll Need

  • Valid government-issued ID (must be 18+)
  • Cash or debit card for purchases
  • Daubers (available for purchase if needed)

How to Play

The Basics

Each bingo card contains a 5x5 grid with numbers:

  • B Column: Numbers 1-15
  • I Column: Numbers 16-30
  • N Column: Numbers 31-45 (with FREE space in center)
  • G Column: Numbers 46-60
  • O Column: Numbers 61-75

During the Game

  1. The caller announces numbers randomly
  2. Mark the called numbers on your card(s)
  3. Watch for winning patterns
  4. When you complete a pattern, call "BINGO!"
  5. Your card will be verified by staff
  6. If valid, you win the prize!

Common Winning Patterns

  • Straight Line: Complete any horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line
  • Four Corners: Mark all four corner squares
  • Full Card: Mark all numbers on your card (Blackout/Coverall)
  • Special Patterns: X, T, L, or other shapes (announced before game)

Important Rules

  • Pay attention to the caller - missed numbers cannot be replayed
  • Call "BINGO" immediately when you have a winning pattern
  • Do not disturb other players during games
  • Cell phones must be on silent mode
  • Smoking is not permitted inside the venue

Types of Games

Regular Games

Standard bingo games with various patterns. Prizes range from $50 to $500 per game.

Bonanza Games

Special games with larger prize pools. Numbers are called before the session, and you mark them on special cards.

Progressive Jackpots

Jackpots that grow until someone wins! Must achieve a coverall within a specific number of calls.

Special Games

Unique games with special patterns or rules, often with enhanced prizes.

Tips for New Players

  • Start with fewer cards until you're comfortable
  • Sit near experienced players who can help
  • Use different colored daubers for different games
  • Stay focused and listen carefully to the caller
  • Don't be afraid to ask staff for help
